Electrostatic discharges may have disastrous consequences in spaces with sensitive equipment, electronic components or hazardous substances. By installing an electrically conductive self-smoothing Arturo floor you prevent persons walking over the floor from becoming electrically charged.
Explosion protection
An electrically conductive self-smoothing flooring system of Arturo prevents possible explosion of stored combustible substances. Think of technical and laboratory spaces but also of explosion-proof spaces where powders, gasses or solvents are produced. Areas where electrically conductive self-smoothing flooring systems are mainly applied include bakeries, ammunition factories and depots, and the metallurgic sector. Here, even the smallest spark discharge can cause a destructive explosion.
ESD
ESD-spaces and cleanrooms require an electrically conductive surface with a low accumulation of electrostatic charges. The Arturo ESD flooring systems are suitable for application in the electronics and automotive industries. But also in microbiology or microchemistry, protecting these electronically sensitive components against electrostatic discharges has the highest priority.
Electrically conductive
The electrically conductive self-smoothing flooring systems Arturo EP2480 (explosion protection) and EP2490 (ESD & cleanrooms), protect uncontrolled electrical charging and discharging through the floor. In creating a comprehensive product range, Arturo now also offers an anti-static floor coating system: Arturo EP3400.
Both systems have been developed on the basis of various standards/measuring methods.
